Dawn Madeira Cake Base is a versatile professional cake mix that requires only the addition of oil and water for a buttery, fine-textured traditional madeira sponge every time.
It bakes evenly and flat with a moist, stable crumb that suspends fruit and other inclusions well, making it ideal for madeira and genoa cakes, slab and slab-cut cakes, fairy cakes, slices and fondant fancies.
