Method
- Poppy sponge
Mix all ingredients (except the poppy seed filling) at medium speed for about 4 minutes using a flat beater. Divide the batter between two 60 × 40 cm trays and level it. Pipe the Poppy Seed Filling onto each sponge, 400 g per sponge. Bake at 200°C for about 15-17 minutes. Leave to cool.
- Cherry jelly
Soak the gelatine in the water, then liquefy it and combine it with Fruitful Cherry in gel using a blender. Spread it over the surface of the poppy sponge.
- Cream
Aerate Milano Cream with the water and leave to stand for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, whip the margarine, then combine it with the Milano Cream. Spread the mass over the cherry jelly. Keep part of the cream back for the top sponge. Cover with the second poppy sponge and spread the remaining cream over it.
- Decoration
Soak the gelatine in the water and liquefy it. Combine the desiccated coconut with Paletta Cold, then add the gelatine mass. Spread it over the surface of the cake. Decorate as desired.
